Pond life

I was fascinated with the life in and around my sisters pond. I tried to take photos of her fish, but they are very shy and also rather depleted in numbers following a Heron visit. So consequently the number of tadpoles are amazing. I took quite a few photos of the tadpoles. To feed at the surface they flip upside down, as their mouth is on the underside of their heads. Then there were loads of bees landing on some pretty purple flowers by the pond. But this photo of the duck weed with the sun sparkling on the pond won the day.
