I had a little picnic with Karl Marx this afternoon in Highgate Cemetery. Such a beautiful, tranquil place and such a gorgeous, sunny afternoon too. I must visit the West Cemetery one day, though it's by guided tour only.

I had a walk round Waterlow Park after, what a pretty park.

I'm just waiting for my son, Daniel to come home tonight for a very brief, one night visit. We are going out for dinner later (if his bus back from Oxford doesn't get stuck in a huge traffic jam!)
