D day minus 1

I know, it's the anniversary of D day today but our D day comes tomorrow when we celebrate Mom and Dad's Diamond wedding anniversary. Strange to think it was only 10 years after Dunkirk that they got married.

This is what the big fridge looks like at the moment. We've worked hard today doing as much as we can in advance do that tomorrow morning will not be too rushed. Need to be at Marks and Spencer at 8am collecting salad type stuff and a big pork pie (Dad's favourite)

The cooking of the whole salmon went well and we hope we've deboned it! Never done one of those before.

I'm so glad that Mom and Dad have made it to 60 years, and I hope they enjoy seeing their best man, page boy and two of the three bridesmaids tomorrow.

Still worried about the pavlova, must get the Brie out of the fridge...
