Old Skala -

At the southern tip of the island is Skala.

Very big sandy beaches and lots of fancy hotels which was
why we were not staying there.
We were there to visit Old Skala which was destroyed in the
earthquake and the new town rebuilt on further towards the
coast.
At the top of the hill there was a partially rebuilt church.
It was beautiful with its half built walls giving you a great
view to the sea and no roof just a view of the sky. I would
leave it just like that.
