Terrace view

This is the evening view from the terrace of the building we are staying in with the other birders. Furthest left is Kythera, then a small islet and then to the right is the Greek mainland - the Pelleponese.
The really small rocklet ot the right is the rock on which is the wreck which was carrying the Antikythra mechanism - hailed as some as the world's earliest computer.
Finally on the promontory on Antikythera itself is the "castle" - a quite decent set of walls used as a pirate stronghold in about the third century BC.
Not bad for a view very evening!
