Borgo San Marco

This is the front gate to Borgo San Marco, a former monastry set just a couple of kilometres east of Fasano in Puglia, Italy. It is here that my gorgeous cousin Sarah married her fiancee (and my favourite Italian) Mariano. They actually get married on tomorrows blip, but this is of course a back blip (you didn't think I'd go over to Italy and spend my time on a computer did you?)

Today we mainly sat around the pool and ate some good food. Fe was brave enough to drive the mad E55 which took us from Bari to Borgo San marco, and therefore she drew the short straw of driving everywhere - hence not going far today! She did get us to the local supermarket for some nice cold meats and fruit.

In the evening we drank wine and ate a lot of good food. I'm not entirely sure what we ate though because of the wine. I thought I'd had a fair bit - but tomorrow was going to be a real eye opener!
