Sundews
It is easy to see how this plant came by it's name! It's carnivorous, the drops of dew are quite sticky and any insect attracted to the plant sticks, while the sun part closes over it's prey, digestive enzymes get to work and hey... a tasty supper!
We collected my mum at Kerry airport, she is staying for a week. Walked to the base of Hungry Hill and back, not bad for an eighty year old! The damp mossy terrain was carpeted with Sundews.
