Flying the nest!

At 7.30 this morning our wee blue tits started to fly out of the nest box. JD , Andrew and myself stood and watched as one , two, three, four, five , six, seven all came out! We were thrilled to see them. As I blip there is still one reluctant wee one in the box but a parent has just been back to feed it and knows that it is there.

BBQ tonight for friends. We are promised sunshine. Here's hoping

Edit : Nine chicks came out altogether Possibly 10. What a brood to feed. No wonder these wee blue tit parents were busy.
