Living in hope
SHE was making this amazing smelling stew type thingy this afternoon. And I did so want some.
SHE doesn't very often cook beef of any description, but this stew had onions, and garlic, and tomatoes, and mushrooms, and celery and carrots. And I think she's going to put some (be still my beating heart) cheese and rosemary scones on top and bake it all in the oven.
And that's what THEY are going to have for dinner.
As for ME, I just get the same old mince and dry biscuits - sigh!!!
Hey guess what! No, you'll never guess.
I can't call the C.A.T., the C.A.T. any more. He has to have a name now. And his name is Raj. It was a break-through moment, and we shared a nose to nose kissey. How about that!!
You'll have to look a the Rower's journal to capture this magic moment. And believe me it was magic. After weeks and weeks of the cold shoulder from Raj, he actually wants to be my friend. And I think that's some sort of wonderful.
