East to West to East…...

Dad did a lot of driving today….first we went to Eastern Beach for a run around with my friend Bella the Poodle, great stuff ! Then the word was out…. the surf is small but perfectly formed, so a trip west to Piha was in order asap ! While there we met up with Dad's mates Grub & PE. Grub is not a bag of tucker by the way, but a very good surfer and the other bloke is a professional surf photographer and darn good surfer too !
This beach has some funny names for the various rocky outcrops in the distance, they are left to right Lion Rock, The Camel & The Nun. Can you can make them out ?
I know he made the image go a bit funny
Not shown, but where the surf was best in Dad's opinion is Monkey Rock from where this shot was taken.
