Urban Snowboarding...

Imagine you could go snowboarding at a resort where you only had to travel 5 minutes in the car to get there. All the amenities you could ask for are a couple of minutes walk away, the piste is deserted and the lift passes are free. When I say free I actually mean they don't exist and I had to walk up to the top of the run.

I had my first dose of urban snowboarding today. It was great fun. I had a run from the top of the hill above the Dunfermline skatepark down the footpath, cut across onto the grass hill where a discarded snowball acts as a perfect wee kicker, back across the other side of the path, down a set of stairs into a play park and finally out via another set of stairs.
