Tiger Tiger

I was inspired by Fibreandfotos tiger photo to make my own trip to the Safari Park. I was thinking about stopping by since I knew I was getting out of work early today and it is on my way home, but seeing Fibreandfotos shot really inspired me to check it out. The new tiger exhibit is excellent. Being Thursday afternoon, it wasn't too crowded either. I got in, found a good parking spot, and walked right up to a great view. There were about 5 tigers on exhibit, but this one, behind the glass, laying under the tree, was by far the most picturesque.

After the tiger visit I did something I don't remember ever doing -- and that is walk through the "gardens" area of the park. It was peaceful and beautiful. Next time I get out of work early, I'm stopping by again. Sure, I'll check out the tigers again too, but there are lots more trails to hike in this park and I need to explore them all.
