Back to reality

First day back at work today. As a result of Monday's fire we have been relocated to an office (box room) at another Extra Care Scheme with a few bits we have salvaged from the office. Won't be easy for a while but I am pleased that we are able to continue as I half expected to be laid off! The current aim is to have the place re opened for Christmas. Nice to hear that everyone is full of praise for the Fire Service!

Being Thursday it was knitting night too, so as it was the best part of the day weather wise I spent 5 minutes in the graveyard attached to the Chapel where we meet. Thought that given the various remembrances this weekend for 70 years since D Day this war grave seemed appropriate. Reminder that the fire at work is just a hiccough in the grand scheme of things.
