XC Skiing

Mid-way through the morning all my plans for the day changed. I was meant to be meeting a friend in Edinburgh to run a 5K race. Not long before I was about to set out, I was called by Sheena to see if I wanted to go cross country skiing, and had i heard it was snowing yet again in Edinburgh. After hearing the 5K had changed ot a 4K because of the weather, the plans got changed and I went XC skiing in West Linton by the golf course road. It was true winter wonderland. Someone had been out before us and very conveniently left some newish tracks which we followed for a few miles before going more wild and making some new tracks up a hill. It was a brilliant afternoon. Feel so lucky to live here and have all this on my doorstep
