Berwick fortifications, Sandgate

Another rather dreary, dull day.

Time for a quick Blip this afternoon before starting Job No. 2. There's an English Heritage sign on the wall - The Medieval town wall was built on a line laid down by Edward I in 1296. Other parts of the defences were completely remodelled in the 16th century.
