On the Map

This work has been in a blip before on February 25 but today, with the sun on it , I thought the sculture was worth a blip of its own. I also took more time to examine the base and found the name of the piece and the sculptor; Ev Meynell "On the Map". This enabled me to track it down on his website where it says he was commissioned by Tonbridge Borough Council to create a modern piece for the millenium. This now completes the entry for 25 Feb.
