No arty blip tonight - far too tired today - so am going to retire early to bed and read Fireball - Carole Lombard and the mystery of flight 3 by Robert Matzen.

Have read almost half since it arrived yesterday and it is completely gripping as well as terribly sad and tragic not just for the death of beautiful Carole Lombard but also that of all the other people aboard that plane
