Finally Finding Further Facts on Finnish

I've always been fascinated by Finnish (suomi). So beautiful and so different from Swedish (ruotsi)! Yet, so far I've only managed to pick up a few words here and there. Now I've finally dared to get myself a grammar and a dictionary - hope to get a bit further. Wish me luck!

Loanwords in Swedish with Finnish origin:
pojke (Swedish) - poika (Finnish), meaning boy/son
pjäxa (Swedish) - pieksu (Finnish), meaning ski-boot
