Poor Ivy was really not very well today. At lunch time she threw up foul smelling green mucus all over herself (exorist style) and very listless. She showed no interest in eating- even when we replaced her sensible lunch of creamcheese and potatoes with a dried fig. We took her temprature and it was super high- so Euan rushed to tesco to get her some calpol before going back to school.

You know the advert for calpol where it says 'now with a little help from calpol they're back to their normal selves... sorry about that', it couldn't have been more true- this is her half an hour after she had some calpol 'helping' to stuff clean nappies by pulling them off the sofa.

She was miserable again after her afternoon nap, spent a good hour with her slumped across my shoulder grumbling, with the soggy patch on my arm getting bigger and bigger. She cheered up just in time for Euan coming home and the two of them played a duet on the guitar.
