Ronnie Le Drew

It is 'arts fortnight' at school where the children have a wonderful two weeks of activities and visitors from the arts. Shaking up Shakespeare on Tuesday, a fantastic one man show where the children can participate followed by workshops. Today, Ronnie Le Drew, a wonderful puppeteer, returned to our school to talk and show children puppets he has worked with. Zippy from Rainbow, Sooty and Sweep, labyrinth the film and muppets christmas carol are just a few of his claims to fame. The children had a great time and were completely engaged throughout the session.
Some of you may remember Muffin the Mule??!!! Ronnie is friends with the granddaughter of the original puppeteer and allows Ronnie to borrow Muffin for different events.
