Armenian Lily
I've had no wi-fi access for a few days. Now in Dilijan, in the forests of N. Armenia. This was the highlight of our explorations today - Lilium Armenia, a spectacular flower that is endemic to Armenia. Getting photographs entailed climbing down an almost vertical slope that had lots of other interesting species. During the day we saw lots of orchids and along one stretch of mountain track I counted 56 Marsh Fritillary butterflies. Sheer heaven!
