I have never .....

.... seen a waterlily before. Yet look what was under my nose as I sat by the Broad at lunchtime having a bit of a think.

It's exam time at the UEA, and it's also the time when many of the PhD research students (which my office deals with) are handing in their final, fully approved, bound theses in time for them to be able to have their Doctorates conferred upon them at Congregation in July.

At the other end of the cycle, we're also still dealing with applications from people wanting to start at UEA in the autumn. So lots of beginnings and endings.
