Shine on

Poor old Greyfriars Bobby, his little nose gleaming from being rubbed by tourists who seem to think it's a tradition. Thinking about it, I suppose that means it is a tradition now.

Wonder how it got started?

Wasn't in a hurry this morning, so took the lift from Waverley Station to Princes Street, lured by its promise of amazing views. I imagined something like this. Disappointingly though, it looked like this instead.
