Be unbored

Took the day off work today as it was the official press launch of the Edinburgh Fringe 2014 programme at the National Galleries, which is always a super time with bacon rolls, coffee, catching up with friends, followed by a number of speeches delivered by the great and good of the Fringe.

Here is Kath Mainland, the Chief Executive of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, who is the big boss of it all, and a very lovely person too.

The world's largest arts festival, with 49,497 performances of 3,193 shows, of which 825 are free shows, 1,789 premieres and 47 different countries represented.
