View of the Monastic City at Glendalough

Dear Diary,

I leave Glendalough tomorrow and this is a view, a memory, I wish to take with me. The monastic city was the focus of mine during my stay. I visited many times. There was a saying that seven visits to Glendalough was the same as one visit to Rome for ancient pilgrims. Having spent nearly two weeks here, I can understand that sentiment.
