The Landing

Have visitors at the moment, spent some time in Rotorua and on our way back home we drove down to "The Landing", a very scenic part of Lake Tarawera and a place where traditionally over the years, boats have departed from to enjoy the lake.

I couldn't believe that I had left my camera at home as the lake was just like glass and the clouds were just wonderful. So after dropping off the family I got my camera and drove back hoping to catch a great sunset.
Unfortunately it wasn't quite as spectacular as I had hoped for, but did get a little bit of pink. The water was forming beautiful patterns and reflecting the clouds, a great place to spend a little bit of time soaking up the atmosphere.
