End of the Year BBQ

Sunday we spent the morning together. Well the girl and I did. The Hubby is still shrimping. We had a nice breakfast, and some finishing up of the school project.

A little before noon, we headed into town to grab some chips, dip, crackers and cheese for the end of the year school BBQ. We arrived, and wished for some sun. It was so overcast...but it wasn't raining, so that was good. There was live music, and tons of friendly faces. Sugar found some friends, and had a blast playing with them. It was like the longest recess ever. I enjoyed some great conversations with some of the other parents and teachers. It was such fun.

We headed home, and had a late dinner. I can't remember at all what we did in the evening....but I do know it ended with snuggles and sleepover in mama's bed. There are certain perks when The Hubby is away.
