Dry

So, what I didn't mention in yesterday's post is that we entertained some friends last night. It was, euphemistically, a "late night" and that resulted in a bit of a lie-in, this morning, interrupted by a single coffee run to the kitchen.

We may have missed the first few hours of sunlight but it was a beautiful day and it seemed a terrible waste not to go out somewhere and enjoy the sunshine, so we plumped for a drive over to Dent.

We did, inevitably, end up in a tea room but prior to that we had an enjoyable stroll around this small, isolated town. There's a beck that passes through Dent which transports water from the fells down the river. Normally it's very busy but today, after this sunny spell we've had, it was completely and unusually dry.
