half a bridge

I was impressed this morning to see half of the new bridge over the train station is up (well, the bottom of it not its sides) but apparently the other half doesn't go up til August! I know there will be reasons and I have no knowledge of building or engineering but it seems really odd we'll have half a bridge for a couple of months! (There are two temporary footbridges and the traffic is re-routed til December so we won't have to use the half bridge and jump to the other side or anything).

It's loud in the morning. I like my mornings quiet. Or at least not machinery noise as I wait for my train. I kind of want a mute button for the world.
