Dead hard

Well the worst thing has happened; our IT department couldn’t recover the data from the hard disk. I’ve lost loads, but it’s the photos that are the dagger to my heart!

I’m going to take it to a data recovery company tomorrow, and I hope and pray they will be able to recover the data.

So the hard disk is no more! It has passed on! It has ceased to exist! It’s expired and gone to its maker! It’s a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace! This is an ex-hard disk!
