Doha Days

A dust storm in Iran yesterday hit the world weather headlines. Not sure if our dust here today was related but at tea time this afternoon our verandah table had accumulated a thick covering. This spider also appeared to join the tea party. Such a tiny spider had large beady eyes and a surprisingly aggressive stance.

I have worked in Beijing on three occasions and have been privileged to run in Tiananmen Square before breakfast. Not sure I would be allowed to do that today?
On the 25th anniversary of the massacre the world has not forgotten.
