Decorating

The whole house needs painting. We have made a start in middle sons room and shower room. When I say we I mean the decorator....all I'm doing is picking the colour paint.

It's so hard to know which colour to choose. I spend a fortune on tester pots. I bring it home, paint it on the walls, then have my doubts about the shade I've chosen. But there are just so many to choose from....too many to choose from. The shop I go to paint wooden plates with the colours so at least you can see the real colour you are buying, which is a big help....but I still manage to end up with nearly as many tester pots as they have in the shops.

I think the decorator will be here for many weeks to come. He's a one man band, good, but very slow...and only here three days a week. It will all look nice when it's done.

Went to new Zumba class last night and it wasn't on because the hall was being used for a play. Had to make a decision to either go to a bootcamp session or go for a run...my friend and I chose the run. We did 5k and were both delighted with that. My friend had a few stops but has never run that far before so she did really well. I kept up a pretty good pace...well for me anyway.

Boot this morning and again tonight. I'm introducing a couple of friends to the world of bootcamps tonight. I hope they enjoy it. I've decided to get my bike out and cycle to Bootcamp this evening. I can see how long it takes and I might start cycling up in the mornings as well....just means I'll have to get up even earlier :( x
