Paul's Scarlet and Bee
This rose was here when I came to this house. It's not a favourite : the colour fades to a miserable pink and not much perfume, but not in my nature to dig something out that does flower.
I went into the garden after rain to catch another one of Albertine, covered in buds, raindrops and many shades of colour gradation. This wins cos of the unexpected Bee, perhaps sheltering from rain.
I went today, for the 1st time since surgery to Pilates Nikki's studio ( she's been coming to me ), to start using the tougher stuff : blimey did she slaughter me, trying to get my seized up muscles moving. I am exercising every day and part of me refuses to do more, after all look where lot's of exercise got me. ( I know, not exercise that caused my hip to fail ).
I crawled home to fall on the bed. I'll walk later to keep me moving.
