Black-headed Gull At the Mill Pond

On a wet day and after my root canal treatment I thought a little trip down to my Mill Pond to take some ducks would be good. I was intending a collage but captured this female black-headed gull (help with naming it would be great, now expertly provided by Black Tulip and World Wide Writer - thanks)and it was so majestic compared to the general run of ducks and geese I decided it deserved centre stage. Staying at home now for rest of day to do some work, let my mouth return to normal and then gingerly eat some food!
