The church garden rose.

This rose is the same one that I included in yesterday's collage.
I am very fond of it and look forward to it flowering at this time each year. I spent some time this morning cutting off all the leaves with the awful black spot.
Then, until it started drizzling too much, I worked at the railway station, taking up the leggy pansy plants, and polyanthus, in readiness for the big plant- up of Summer Bedding plants at the railway station on Saturday morning.
Hoping for a nice sunny few hours from 9 till noon.
Inspite of the overcast weather, the blackbird was singing joyfully.
I experimented with a few editing effects using Picasa for my blip of the rose.
I think it enhances the beauty.
