.... train of 4. Last 15 minutes of 8 hours.

She was incredibly good on all the trains. It was quite a journey home. A car ride, 4 hour train, a 90 minute train, a 40 minute train, a 15minute train and a taxi. She played with Monkey, she ate her lunch at 10am, her snacks at 11.30. She had a 90 minute sleep. She played a few games on the ipod. She listened to music for a very long time. And then on the final train, she skipped. Up and down. The conductor had seen her running up and down the (empty) platform before getting on the train and was perfectly happy to let her blow off steam in the empty carriage.

We arrived home to Granny and Grandad, plus nice weather. So she charged around the garden for a while and we had tea al fresco. We were both quite glad to be settling down to our own beds tonight. Great time away though!
