The Perch

Although their nest was destroyed in the violent windstorm of April 15, the osprey pair have remained close to the nesting site. They no longer maintain a constant presence on the nest site, but are more likely to perch in a nearby tree or structure where they can keep an eye on it. When another osprey shows an interest in the site, they swoop out to chase it away.
