Costa Classica

Another day another two cruise ships. This is the larger of the two today the Costa Classica. Very different to some of the ships that have been in. No evidence of hundreds of cabins with balconies. She is probably in the middle of the size range that use Invergordon through the summer. At approximately 53,000 tonnes she carries 1,680 passengers with a crew of 617.

The smaller ship today was the Astor. At 20,000 tonnes she is capable of carrying 650 passengers with a crew of 300. Again she was another ship with classic lines and no balcony cabins.
