On the waterfront

Changeable weather again. Lovely at times but heavy rain for a while. I popped down to the village this morning as I needed to go to the bank. Bit of food shopping and then home.

Quick turnaround and I was on the bus to Newcastle. I wanted a shot suitable for today's Forum Challenge. For this month DDW has complied a list of movie titles. Today's film is On the Waterfront.. So I went down to the River Tyne.

My blip show The Millennium Bridge across the Tyne with The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art on the right of the shot. You may wonder why there is a palm tree. Well every year the council tries to transform the Quayside into a Seaside. They put palm trees there and some sand and deckchairs.
