Not Here To Come Second

I attended a brilliant trends conference held by the Future Foundation today, called Not Here To Come Second. It covered the economic situation (macro indicators show recovery but it's still austerity for the ordinary consumer); technology trends, trust and relationships between brands and consumers; the future of television; data privacy; controlling your social media image and a Dragons Den style competition between four innovative start ups.

I ran into four old colleagues there too!
Fascinating and fun - sometimes work has it's compensations :-)
