Whiston parish church of St. Mary the Virgin

The morning was cloudy and a little drizzly for the Nordic walk at Fawsley Hall but we went up and down hills and did squats and arm exercises every 15 mins so worked up a sweat!
The afternoon's walk at Castle Ashby was sunny and bloomin' hot! Again up and down hills! Got sweaty again!!
This church is at the top of a hill called 'coffin hill' - not 100% sure why... (Because Nordic walkers have expired climbing it???!!). The tower has lots of gargoyles, all different. I'd love copies of these in my garden. :-)
