Unhappy

Not a happy face,
When you have a poorly paw,
And there's rain again!


I don't think Stella knows what she's more miserable about...the rain on the windows or the "no breakfast" thing that's happening tomorrow. She ripped one of her back claws and today I spotted it had gone a bit red and lumpy so I called in at the vets on the way home from work so they could look at it.

Pretty much the whole of it has to come off so they need to sedate her while they cut through the quick, they'll give all the tootsies a trim while she's there at least as she hates me doing it...good job I do though or I wouldn't have spotted this and it could have got infected. We don't know if it hurts her because her arthritis medicine would mask the pain.

In human medicine news, I chased the hospital up about my 'urgent' vestibular physio appointment and all they could tell me was that I'm nearly at the top of the waiting list so should get my appointment within weeks...I'd hate to think how long the non-urgent cases have to wait!
