Passing through

It was an hour's driving each way for my lunch date today, but it isn't much of a hardship driving through villages like this and the lovely Surrey countryside. This is the village of Brockham with the backdrop of Box Hill.

I was travelling to a regular lunch date where six of us take it in turns to entertain the others. Today's host had only been in her new home a couple of months and we were keen to be shown around, just as she was keen to show us! She bought a run down bungalow and had a new kitchen and bathroom fitted and had it decorated throughout. She is so thrilled with it all, it was a pleasure to see her so happy.
