Take-off!

We've had our eldest son and his American fiancee staying with us for 2 weeks (hence some of the gadding about we've been doing!) but they had to return home to Detroit today. We drove them to Newcastle airport for the first leg of their flight (via Amsterdam), and just as we left to drive home again this plane was taking off; luckily I had my camera at the ready for this simple but (hopefully!) effective shot.

(Unfortunately I couldn't wait for their plane to take off; one has to get to airports so far in advance of one's flight these days, I didn't have enough time to wait that long!)
