Coot on branch

This coot was enjoying the afternoon sun - he probably needed it because it was truly freezing cold (I will try not to mention this every day). Scientific question: does quantity and quality of photos correlate with amount of frozen fingertips?

Sorry for those of you who commented on my previous entry, but decided to change to the coot. I am just a tiny bit doubtful about my entries :-)
