The golden postbox

Communities where individuals won Gold Medals at the London 2012 Olympics had a gold painted postbox to mark the achievement.

In the village of Kirkton Manor, the postbox is for Scott Brash, gold-winning equestrian!

A very big occasion of pride for the tiny community. But the paint is now beginning to flake off..... such is life.
