Changing skyline

Travelling home in the train today I captured this view just before arriving in Partick. This used to be a massive scrap metal yard containing mountains of cars. All this has been swept away and I imagine residential properties are planned for this site near the River Kelvin. The steeple of Glasgow University is almost obscured by one of the concrete towers that has arisen from the ashes, and the twin turrets of the Art Galleries are visible on the right. The great expanse of rain clouds caught my eye as the sun broke through on the scene, making this my first choice for today's blip.
