Morning glow snow

The only upside of this infernal snow is the reduction of traffic on the roads; fortunate really as I went into a spectacular skid on the way to dropping #2 son at school this morning. He was so traumatised that he said he'd walk home after school (a decision he was to regret as he fell on his back on the sheet ice on the hill). This is the morning sunlight taken through the windscreen on the way home (I did stop to park first). Yellow snow is not usually a welcome phenomenon but on this occasion it just looked like a golden river.
