Zion Samuel, one week and one day old, and what a week it's been.

Two car rides; first visit to church, where he behaved impeccably; first visit to our pub, where the under-18 rule was relaxed and he was given a bottle of proper champagne; two walks in his pushchair and a vist to a coffee shop; first visit to his parents' office; first visit to his own home; and many cuddles by too many people to remember...

Not to mention - a cannula puncturing his hand and a tube up his nose; learning to breastfeed - going over his birth weight, so obviously managing that OK; innumerable nappy changes, which he does NOT like; and sunbathing in the garden...
