Old Mill Stream

After a short discussion in drizzle this morning the ladies decided to forgo the delights of Denholme - mainly due to the muddy fields and long wet grass

We opted for a make it up as you go walk - taking in paths around Hewenden - Goit Stock - Hallas Bridge - and Harecroft

This stretch of Harden Beck is at the side of a now converted mill and may have been the old mill race

No run of the mill walk for us - and no racing either
